2014 US Open Prize Money

Check out the prize money (in US Dollars) for the 2014 US Open Tennis singles and doubles events at Flushing Meadows from August 25 to September 8 2014.

Total Prize Money

Total prize money for the 2014 championship events is $38.25m including payments to players for per diem expenses and legends exhibition and wheelchair events. This is a 11.5% increase on 2013’s $34.3m.

US Open Series Extra Bonus Prize Money

There is also potential for extra bonus prize money (up to $2.6m) for the top three finishers from the US Open Series. As at 17 August Milos Raonic and Serena Williams head the US Open Series standings. See full standings.

US Open Singles Prize Money (Men and Women)

Percentage increase on 2013 prize money and last year’s figures in brackets.

  • Winner $3,000,000 (15% – $2,600,000)
  • Runner-up $1,450,000 (12% – $1,300,000)
  • Semi-finalists $730,000 (12% – $650,000)
  • Quarterfinalists $370,250 (14% – $325,000)
  • Fourth round $187,300 (14% – $165,000)
  • Third round $105,090 (13% – $93,000)

US Open Doubles Prize Money Per Pair (Men and Women)

    • Winner $520,000 (13% – $460,000)
    • Runner-up $250,000 (9% – $230,000)
    • Semi-finalists $124,450 (8% – $115,000)
    • Quarterfinalists $62,060 (7% – $58,000)
    • Third round $32,163 (7% – $30,000)
    • Second round $20,063 (7% – $18,750)
    • First round $13,375 (7% – $12,500)

The mixed doubles prize money is unchanged from 2013.
