Men’s Draw

  • World No.1 Andy Murray (his first tournament since earning the No.1 seeding in Bercy, Paris) has Federer and Nishikori in his quarter
  • World No.2 Novak Djokovic has Thiem, Goffin and Dimitrov in his quarter
  • Rafael Nadal is seeded 9 and comes in off a great run through to the quarter-finals in Brisbane after returning from injury, where he was defeated by Milos Raonic. He’s in the same quarter as Monfils, Zverev and Raonic.
  • Roger Federer is seeded 17 due to absence from tennis since Wimbledon due to injury. He’ll play a qualifier in Round 1 after playing some solid matches to warm up via the Hopman Cup in Perth. Berdych, Murray and Nishikori are in his quarter.
