Let the Wimbledon games begin!

Taking a break

Doing my best

The beauty of an open roof on a day with no rain

Pretty happy with that point

The ball kids doing their stuff to keep the balls tidy

Djokovic

Ferrero

One down, six to go. Tape must have helped.

Berdych v Gulbis

Ernests Gulbis ranked No.87 defeated No.7 ranked Tomas Berdych, 7-6, 7-6, 7-6.

Gulbis served 30 aces and hit 32 other winners, playing some incredible shots.

Guibis plays Jerzy Janowicz in the second round.

Gulbis serves an ace

Wow, that was fast

Wow, my racquet is working well today

Another tiebreak, jeepers, I'm sure I can win this one

Gulbis Power

Another tiebreak, jeepers, I'm sure I can win this one

In a post match interview Gulbis said "Am really happy I didn't choke in the end... as usual"

He also said (with a touch of sarcasm) "I'm really well known for mental strength, watch my previous matches".

I really hate those tiebreaks

Until next time

Grand Slam Gal
