One of the things that contributes to Melbourne being the world’s most liveable city is the quality and variety of cafes, bars and restaurants that are available.
If you’re heading to the Australian Open and want to indulge your taste buds either before or after the tennis, check out Dutchess at Level 2, 146 Flinders St. It’s a short walk from Melbourne Park (or two stops on the free Australian Open tram line), the service is excellent and they serve food until late, offering a selection of small dishes and different sized steaks, complimented by a range of quality wines and cocktails.
Stop at Dutchess for a drink on the terrace or enjoy a top quality meal there during your day at the Australian Open. In my book that’s the perfect Melbourne experience!
Australian Open Trading Hours:
Wednesday to Friday from 12pm – late
Saturday from 4pm – late
The restaurant is serving food anytime that they are open, which makes Dutchess a great option when you need to fit in a meal before, or after the Australian Open session that you have tickets for.
Until next time
