Amazing. Incroyable. Fantastique. What a match between Djokovic and Tsonga. Have a look at some pics.
Novak Djokovic defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-1, 5-7, 5-7, 7-6, 6-1 in an epic match with many twists and turns. Djokovic came out firing and won the first set in about 20 minutes or so but then the crowd rallied Jo back into the match. Jo had four match points in the fourth set but couldn’t take one, the set went to a tiebreak which Djokovic won and then went on to win the fifth set and the match.

Looks like you were in a great spot. The pics are lovely. Out of all the matches I’ve seen, this is the one I enjoyed the most. Djokovic is not a player I warm to but I was very impressed with his play. Some of the commentators on British TV noted that a lot of the crowd left after the fourth set. I didn’t notice that, did you? Also, Tsonga seems affected by the crowd a little too much. At times he seemed distressed when the crowd was cheering. I can’t imagine the weight of responsibility he was feeling.

Cheers Sara, it was such a top match, I liked both Jo and Nole before but now I have even more respect for both of them for how they played and also for how great the were in the interviews at the end of the match
