Instagram is a photo sharing app that makes it easy to keep up with pics taken by tennis players and fans. I’m loving it!
Like all social media, when I first started using Instagram I couldn’t really figure out what to do with it and why people loved it so much. And then a friend showed me how to find people to get connected to.
Reasons to love Instagram:
- Tennis players share their photos on Instagram. Sure the photos are most likely shared via Instagram on other social media like Facebook and Twitter, but for me, my Instagram stream isn’t as busy as Facebook and Twitter so it’s easier to see all their photos.
- More and more tennis fans are using Instagram to share pics when they are at a tournament. And when I can’t be at a tournament, there’s nothing I love more than looking at photos of players and around the grounds.
- Instagram connects to Twitter and Facebook so you can share pics there at the same time as you share them on Instagram just by sliding a button. The benefit of Instagram is that it’s fast. (I don’t understand the technicalities of why but before Instagram, to share a photo on Facebook I had to take the photo then attach it to a status update, which could took ages and sometimes I would give up waiting.)
- You can add Filters to your photos to enhance them and make them look more interesting.
- Another advantage is that you can see the photos that people have shared straight away, without having to click on a link, so it’s easy to skim past the ones you aren’t interested in and look at the ones you like.
I think all the accounts below are official ones but it’s hard to be 100% sure.
