US Open 2012 Prize Money & How it Compares to the Other Tennis Grand Slams

Check out the prize money for the US Open tennis grand slam and see how it compares to the other grand slam tournaments from 2012.

The US Open offers a total of USD 25,500,000 in prize money in 2012.

There is also a bonus $2.6 million up for grabs for the three men and women who finish at the top of the Emirates Airline. US Open Series.

Prize money has increased by at least 18% for the first three rounds. Read more about the 2012 11% increase in the main draw singles prize money.

Along with the US Open prize money for 2012 I’ve also listed the AO, French Open and Wimbledon prize money for each round in USD so you can compare.

Exchange rates can fluctuate a lot during the year. The Wimbledon amounts were converted to US Dollars using the OANDA currently converter on 8 June and the French Open and Australian Open amounts were converted on 14 May.
