Fernando Verdasco defeated David Goffin 6-3, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in 3 hours 22 minutes.
For me, I’m pleased that Verdasco will go further this AO than his first round loss last year, but it was one of those matches that I really wished both players could win.
As you’ll see from the pics, Verdasco had the same beard and bun look that he had at the Hopman Cup.
