Here’s Part 1 of my photographic review of the ladies’ fashions on court during the 2016 Australian Open.
Let’s start with Serena Williams. I wasn’t fan of the black trim with the bright yellow midriff top and pleated skirt in the same colour. But as always Serena looked striking, strong and beautiful. (Thanks @happyslamtennis for sharing the pic below).

The Adidas tennis dress that Ana wore was one of my favourites. And it doesn’t need to be said that Ana always looks great 🙂
Finalist Angelique Kerber also wore Adidas (photo with thanks to @happyslamtennis)
And Kristina Mladenovic looked fabulous in the Adidas dress.
I’m neutral about the Lotto dress that Agnieszka Radwanka wore. Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. Although I do hope to see more of it if Aga can defeat Serena in the Semifinals!
A lot of the ladies wore variations of the Nike red and white combo, including Genie Bouchard, who I didn’t get to see. Madison Keys looked great and it was tough to see her play the end of her fourth round match injured.
Victoria Azarenka had her own style of the Nike outfit, with green trim and white shorts. (Thanks @happyslamtennis for the photo below too)
Sloane Stephens was another of my favourites that wasn’t around for long.
I saw another one of my faves, Dominika Cibulkova, during her doubles match.
