Check out the refreshing Mount Franklin Waterfall Dome at the 2013 Australian Open.
This is a guest fan test done on Friday 18 January by my bestie @fortyshadesofdeuce
The Mount Franklin Waterfall Dome is located on Grand Slam Oval.
It wasn’t a hot day when the fan test was done so the wait to get inside was 5 minutes but can be up to 40 minutes.
Once inside you get 5 to 8 minutes of cold stone therapy; sitting in a comfy seat in a cool environment with four cold stones on your arms.
While you’re relaxing and listening to the sound of the waterfall your drinks can be chilled in a deep freeze.
When you leave you receive a free AO wristband.
The Fan Test Rating Scale
- Ace – The highest possible rating
- Winner – Good but could be slightly improved
- Deuce – Neutral, neither good nor bad
- Fault – The item is lacking in some way.
Fan Test Rating of the Drinks Carrying Tray = Winner
On a hot day it might be Ace once you get inside, but you would get very hot waiting in the queue before you get inside and cool down.
Until next time
