This week Rafa announced that he won’t be playing at the US Open.
As sad I am that I won’t have a chance to see him play at Flushing Meadows, I’m glad that he is taking the time that’s needed until he is fully ready to play again.
Like many other fans have already said, when he is ready to return to tennis tournaments, we’ll be waiting.
I feel really lucky to have seen Rafa this year at the Australian Open in Round 1 and practicing at both Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

Am glad you loved the music @MissYouRafa. It’s one of those songs I never get tired of listening to and I thought it was a good fit because I can’t even imagine how hard it is for Rafa to juggle the needs of his body to fully recover with his commitment to tennis and his fans.
Thanks for this beautiful video, grandslamgal. Love the music. Made me teary-eyed. As if I can feel the pain that Rafa is undergoing.
