For me, I love tennis, and I love to write, so while I’m writing about tennis I am truly in my happy place.
There are loads of other people who share the tennis passion and love to blog about it too.
Being in Australia, January is a fantastic month of watching tennis live, in the right time zone. But once the tournaments move on to the USA, South America and Europe, it becomes harder to keep up in real time. Which is why I love following blogs and knowing that updates will be waiting for me when I check my email or when I look through my twitter lists.
Because tennis is played in so many countries, I’m sure wherever you’re located there are some tournaments that are easy to keep up with, and others that are more difficult due to time zones.
Check out these 7 Tennis Blogs that really hit the spot.
They cover upcoming tournaments, schedules of play, post game analysis, up and coming players, tennis fashion, tennis players and the stuff that makes you laugh out loud!
The descriptions were provided my the authors of each blog, and I recommend them all as being a pleasure to read.

My main aim is to help tennis to become THE No.1 sport in the world. I will cover and show how ALL aspects of tennis can improve dramatically by becoming as effective, efficient and successful as it CAN be.

I generally try to cover as much of the tour as I can making the blog personal and fun yet not too informative like the mainstream news sites.
Tennis from Beyond the Baseline
Website: Tennis from Beyond the Baseline
Twitter: @JodiMcA
Tennis from Beyond the Baseline is a highly biased, highly uneducated daily look at the tennis tournaments and matches going on around the world. I also really like picking out up and comers who I think are going to be awesome. Special favourites include Federer, Mahut (of course!), Golubev and Lisicki.
Adjusting the Net
Website: Adjusting the Net
Twitter: @Adjustingthenet
Subscribe: Via Email and RSS Feed here
Adjusting the Net provides fresh news, commentary and analysis from the world of professional tennis. I don’t try and cover every single match played, but I will do my best to highlight what I find interesting, inspiring and, my favorite, downright strange about this great game.
I will often examine how tennis, both the professional sport and the game, are portrayed by the media. From time to time I will also do reviews of books, TV shows, magazines, and products that focus on tennis.
Racquet Required

My blog provides commentary, news, and a few laughs on the ATP Tour. A little biased towards the Americans, Spanish and Serbs.
And on this blog, Grand Slam Gal, I write tennis articles about the things that are interesting, funny and memorable about the tournaments, the players, the fashion and the hairstyles.
As my plan comes together to do the Grand Slam in 2012, I’ll also be blogging about everything related to the Grand Slam experience; the venues, the tickets, the culture and the cities.
I am on Twitter @GrandSlamGal Facebook Grand Slam Gal and you can subscribe via email here.
Another one of my favourite tennis blogs is Forty Deuce, described as “irreverent coverage of professional tennis from a complete and total wannabe”, it provides highly readable, entertaining and funny insights about the tennis world.

There’s a tennis blog I absolutely love, called “Tennis is served”, written by TopSpin. This is the link:

Anything I say about this blog will not do it justice, so just pay him a visit and read any entry at random. You will not be disappointed. 🙂
