US Open 2011: Dates, Deets, Dollars and ATP Rankings

After mucho great men’s tennis in the 6 week long Olympus US Open Series, which was won by Mardy Fish, the final grand slam of the year is nearly here.

Here are the important US Open deets for the Men.

Defending Champion: Rafael Nadal

Draw

The draw will be available from around 1pm Thursday 25 August (US EST), that’s early morning Australian EST on Friday 26 August.

Dates

  • The qualifying rounds of the US Open will commence on 23 August.
  • Play in the main draw starts on Monday 29 August and finishes on 11 September 2011 (US EST timezone)

Time of Men’s Final

  • 4pm Sunday 11 September US EST
  • 9pm Sunday London
  • 10pm Sunday Paris
  • 6am Monday 12 September, Melbourne and Sydney
