Wimbledon 2012: Pics from the Village and around the grounds

July 6, 2012 By grandslamgal

Have a look around the Wimbledon grounds and at Wimbledon Village.

Wimbledon station

A lot of people also prefer to get off at Southfields Station and walk to the tennis from there. We went to Wimbledon because you can buy supplies along the way.

There are special buses to get you to the tennis, or you can take a regular bus

Wimby bus

Or you can walk in about 15 to 20 minutes (a lot of it is uphill).

    Hi Sara
That’s definitely my impression. I’m heading back to Melbourne later this week for about 5 weeks, then off to New York via Boston for the last leg of the fan slam.
    Cheers
    Mel

It looks like London gets much more in the tennis spirit than does Paris for the Roland Garros…thank you for all your great posts! When are you coming to the states for the US Open?
