Australian Open 2013 Draws Plus Djokovic & Azarenka at the Live Draw Event

January 11, 2013 By grandslamgal

Get the details of the Australian Open Men’s and Women’s Draws, plus pics from the Draw event.

The Live Australian Open Draw Event

Open to the public on the riverside at Crown Casino, Melbourne, the draw for the 2013 Australian Open was made on Friday 11 January 2013. The event was hosted by Australian sports commentator Bruce McAvaney with special guests Victoria Azarenka, Novak Djokovic and Pat Cash.

It is fifteen years since both the women’s and men’s reigning champions were also the number one seeds. Martina Hingis and Pete Sampras were the most recent players to accomplish this.
