The fan slam of programs, mugs, towels and T-shirts

October 5, 2012 By grandslamgal

Check out some of the merchandise that was available at the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open this year.

I love the merchandise that’s available at Grand Slam tournaments, so I collected quite a lot of it during the fan slam!

The fan slam of programs

There was a great range of T-shirts to choose from at each tournament, including ranges by Lacoste, Ralph Lauren and Nike.

I love the towels almost as much as the players do!

The Roland Garros one is my favourite because it’s luxuriously huge.

And sure, these Starbucks mugs aren’t actually Grand Slam merchandise, but we got one from each Grand Slam location (and plenty of other locations too!)

My favourite T-shirt is my Rafa Nike one from Queens in London.

My other favourite piece of merchandise was also from Queens, this silver tennis racquet keyring.

I didn’t buy it but this US Open rubber duck was also pretty cute.

Hi Deb – Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Gotta lay low for a while now before I figure out what to do next, but there is definitely more tennis in my future, starting with the AO.

Hi Izrin – I agree that RG souvenirs are expensive, I think the towel there was 70 Euros so I can admit that I bought it online after the event once it went on sale. The merchandise at US Open was great because they have a full range of clothes from Nike, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren and their own merchandise. I pretty much loved all merchandise at all tournaments though!

Really love the rubber duckie, Queen’s keyring and Starbucks mugs! Which Grand Slam do you think has the best designs? I find the souvenirs at RG a bit overpriced compared to the others – I mean, Euro 25 for a keychain at RG seems a bit steep, but I still bought them, of course :p

Grand Slam Gal – you have done it! Thanks so much for all the fun commentary, news, stories, interesting facts and instruction on how to navigate the slams, oh and the cheese articles (yum). How are you going to top this tour? I think you need your OWN merchandise next time.

Thanks for a great year of blogging.
